The 2019 World Championships is another step in the union of our sport and the Galician city, which is a pioneer in its commitment to sustainability, healthy leisure activities and sports promotion. In its pedestrian streets, the banks of the Lérez, or at the excellent CGTD stadium, we will experi- ence emotions that could not have a bet- ter setting or company. The Spanish Triathlon Federation has gained the confidence to host large inter- national events in collaboration with vari- ous institutions. Dates named unforgetta- ble for their sporting spectacle and for all that Galician and Pontevedra hospitality entails. Thanks to everyone, especially to volunteers - a fundamental part, together with the athletes and their companions, I wish you the best stay in Pontevedra.
